Every year, in the month of August, the Catholic Church calls us to increase our devotion the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This short podcast is the eighth in a year-long series on the monthly devotions that the Church suggests 
for our prayer. Join me as I share thoughts about Mary’s Immaculate Heart, including praying the rosary, the fruits of the mysteries, consecration to Jesus through Mary, a short reading from The Reed of God (along with thoughts on suffering), and making a mini-pilgrimage to a Marian shrine.
With the ever-expanding church sex-abuse scandals we are currently witnessing in the news, the call to devotion to the Immaculate Heart seems even greater and more needed!
