Welcome to the Sisterhood of Awesome Podcast, Episode 4!
On this week's episode of the Sisterhood of Awesome Podcast, I chat with Emily Spiers about her all-natural soap making business, their homestead farm, and her love for life lived in the rhythm of the seasons. Emily's excitement about life is contagious.
In true "Live Simple" style, Emily is a
Jesus lover
Beloved wife
Homeschooling mama
Homesteader
Homemaker
Coffee Drinker
Encourager
Truth teller
Introverted empath
She is one of those rare people who can do many things yet do them all well. Most important to her heart is God and her family. Her main focuses are being a wife to Darian and mother/teacher to Kate and Christopher. However, Emily's compassion and concern for others is evident in everything she does, from making soap to leading women. She is always willing to do whatever is needed to help others find freedom and see Christ.
Live. Simple soap is a product of all of these characteristics. As Emily makes her soap, she prays over every bar and they become more than soap, they become a gift of great beauty and love.

The book that Emily raved about is Trials of the Earth: The True Story of a Pioneer Woman by Mary Mann Hamilton.
