はじめてのおにぎりたけしさんは、日本に住んでいます。今日は友達のマイクさんと公園で昼ごはんを食べます。「マイクさんのお昼ごはんは何ですか。」「今日はサンドイッチです。たけしさんは？」「私はおにぎりを作りました。」「何のおにぎりですか。」「梅干しのおにぎりですよ。」「梅干し…って何ですか。梅はプラムですよね。あまいですか。」「いいえ、とてもすっぱいです。ひとつ食べますか。」「はい、食べたいです。あ、じゃあ、私のサンドイッチをひとつ食べますか。」「ありがとうございます。マイクさんのサンドイッチは何のサンドイッチですか。」「ハムとチーズのサンドイッチです。でも、ちょっと失敗しました。」「失敗？」「はい、マスタードがとても多いですから、とても辛いです。」「ああ、そうですか。じゃあ、辛いサンドイッチと、すっぱい梅干しのおにぎりを、一緒に食べましょう！」マイクさんは、おにぎりを一口食べました。「うわっ！すっぱい！！レモンよりすっぱいです！」たけしさんは笑いました。そして、次は、たけしさんがサンドイッチをひとくち食べました。「うわっ！辛い！！」たけしさんの顔は、赤いです。マイクさんも笑いました。「マイクさん、梅干しはどうですか。」「とてもすっぱいですが、おいしかったです。」「じゃあ、もう少し食べますか。」「…あ、大丈夫です。たけしさん、もうひとつサンドイッチを食べますか。」「えっと…大丈夫です。」2人は笑いました。
