He is Leo Ka Wai, from Kajang, Malaysia. He’s the cofounder and marketing director of Breakout Malaysia and Hauntu Malaysia. Breakout Malaysia is the first characters based real escape room game operator in the world that incorporates characters and role-playing strategies in the game. Founded in 2014, Breakout has now expanded its business to The US, Canada, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and Myanmar.
Before delving into the world of entrepreneurship, Ka Wai was a broadcast engineer at Astro Malaysia. 5 years ago, he took a huge bet to leave his job at Astro to focus on his entrepreneurship endeavour until co-founding Breakout Malaysia, and since then he never looks back and is now enjoying his life as a young entrepreneur.
