Luke 2:7 (NIV) says, “and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them." The first Christmas occurred on the night that Jesus, the Son of God and the long-promised Messiah, was born on earth in the form of ordinary man through the virgin birth of Mary. His entrance to the world was far from royal, instead it was a humbling one - He was born and laid on a manger in Bethlehem, symbolizing rejection, insignificance, and humiliation. As Jesus was willing to be born in a manger, the same Jesus - who is the Saviour, the Messiah, the Lord, is willing to be born in any person's life, no matter how rejected, insignificant and humiliated it may seem. There is no life and there is no person too rejected, insignificant and humiliated that Jesus cannot and is not willing to enter. Your generosity makes a difference!
