Description

  • Luke 2:7 (NIV) says, “and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them."
  • The first Christmas occurred on the night that Jesus, the Son of God and the long-promised Messiah, was born on earth in the form of ordinary man through the virgin birth of Mary. His entrance to the world was far from royal, instead it was a humbling one - He was born and laid on a manger in Bethlehem, symbolizing rejection, insignificance, and humiliation.
  • As Jesus was willing to be born in a manger, the same Jesus - who is the Saviour, the Messiah, the Lord, is willing to be born in any person's life, no matter how rejected, insignificant and humiliated it may seem.
  • There is no life and there is no person too rejected, insignificant and humiliated that Jesus cannot and is not willing to enter.
