What if slow isn’t a setback, but a signal?

In this episode of Everything and Nothing, I reflect on a simple but powerful truth: direction matters more than speed. A turtle and a rabbit showed up outside my house—literally—and their presence reminded me to pay attention.

Through nature, unexpected signs, and even a phrase on a gym wall, I was reminded that the pace of life doesn’t always have to match the pressure. What really matters is staying aligned with where you’re going.

I talk about the myth of work-life balance, the importance of being the same person in all areas of life, and how knowing your direction helps you move through both high-energy and slower seasons with clarity and grace.

This episode also kicks off a 5-part mini-series exploring the foundations of healthy team dynamics and aligned leadership—including direction, communication, safety to fail, voice, and awareness.

If you’ve been feeling slow, out of sync, or unsure whether you’re still “on track,” this one’s for you.
