Let's Do the Time Hop Again
In this episode of The Pastor in Training Podcast we go back to 2021 where I was finishing up my 3rd semester at North Central University and serving at Friendship Church in Denton Texas as an associate pastor and the director of social media under the leadership of Pastor Danny Helms. One of my assignments at NCU was to interview at least 1 pastor to glean as much information as possible about serving in leadership in the church. This interview was so much fun for me as I hold both of these pastors in high regard and I am eternally grateful for the leadership and guidance they offered me in that first year of ministry. I had a lot to learn in those early years and I still have a lot more to learn. That's why I chose the name Pastor In Training. I will always be in training to our teacher Jesus. if you are feeling that call to the ministry then listen closely because this episode is for you.
