Text: Joshua 13-19
In Joshua chapters 13-19 we see the Israelites now "in the land" but not yet enjoying the "rest" they have longed for. Israel is an example to us that it is possible for the people of God to miss out on God's best. We can be "saved" but not "fully free." As such, we would be wise to take the admonitions of Hebrews 3:7-8 seriously: "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion..."
