There is a beautiful tragedy tucked away in these verses that leaves us with a profoundly important question. How is it that Judas, who walked with Jesus for three years, was unable to find restoration after his sin? How is it that his grief over sin lead to death instead of life? And how do we guard ourselves against the same thing? How do we access the radical grace of God and find freedom from the crushing weight of guilt, sin, and shame?
