Description

The infamous Australian mother, entrepreneur, and cancer scammer, Belle Gibson, not to be confused with Australian actor, Mel Gibson, was fake-diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and given four moths to live in 2009. Fast forward to 2013 and she was thriving with her cancer in full remission, thanks to what she described as a whole foods diet and enemas. She then launched a wellness app, “The Whole Pantry,” pushing alternative medicine and food, becoming an overnight celebrity, and winning awards from top brand like Cosmo and Apple. Named Apple’s best food app of 2013, it  came pre-loaded on the Apple Watch, ultimately leading to a best-selling cookbook and one of Australia’s most epic falls from grace.
