Description

This episode is based off an episode I read about boosting your energy.
Intro and outro @nikkos_ramone.
Recorded and edited @mzoundz. There's something about winter that just makes one feel lazy. Cool temperatures, not so great weather, great skies. I think we could all use an energy boost these days. I came across a post that named ten ways to boost your energy, and I thought I would share some of them with you. Allow me to welcome you to Drea's point of view. I am your host, Drea. If you're on Twitter, you can follow the show at Dreapoint Point and Dreaspoint of view on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and Clubhouse. The first thing you can do is tune out other people's negativity. For some of us, it's easier said than done. Over the past year or so, I've definitely gotten better at blocking people out. You've got some people who are always negative and those who just don't want you to be happy. Especially on social media. Ever try and respond to a post. It's like your opinion is either dismissed or diminished. Too many bullies behind screens. By not reacting to every negative comment, you're doing yourself a world of good. The second way you can boost your energy is to be who you really are. There are too many copycats and not enough individuals. Everyone wants a certain look, especially with BBL and the rise. But why not stand out? Being unique? I for one never look like anyone else nor do I care to. A third way is to embrace change. I've noticed so many people have a hard time doing this. It's definitely not easy the older you get, but nothing stays the same. Learning something new? Can be fun. A fourth way to boost your energy is to recognize those who love you. This is huge. We all have our moments where we don't feel like the most lovable, but we have those loyal few who love us no matter what. Hold those people close. A fifth way is to appreciate the great people in your life. Sometimes we take people for granted. We know certain people will be there for us, like our parents, or people that provide a certain service. And It's not until they're out of your lives that we cherish them. Be grateful for who cares about you and who is in your life. Forgiving those who have hurt you is not easy for many. They say it's not for the other person, but you're doing it for yourself. The first to forgive is the strongest, and the first to move on is the happiest. Choosing your relationships wisely is essential. Going through the good and the bad times and not going back to someone that hurts you. Necessary. Value yourself enough to know that being alone is better than being in bad company. A final way to get that boost is to remember to love yourself. We're so busy loving our pets. Strangers. Someone we feel obligated to love, but we forget to love ourselves. Take this listen to consideration when you need that extra boost of energy. Drea’spoint of view has a YouTube channel I'd love for you to subscribe to as well as an upcoming newsletter. I wouldn't want you to miss any of the multiple episodes I have for you weekly. Remember, my goal isn't to change your point of view, but To take a listen to Drea's point of view.
