#069 – It’s happened to all of us - an event, meeting, or message has arrived and we have not put nearly as much time or energy into preparing as we would have liked, so we end up having to wing it. It happens. But what happens next? We, at Lead Volunteers, think a big danger in ministry can happen when we experience success through a “wing it” situation. Now, we certainly don’t wish failure upon anybody, but success on the back end of a lack of preparation can lead to a comfortability with our own abilities, which settles us into an acceptance with average, unplanned, and okay events, meetings, or messages. The only problem with a “winging it” strategy is that eventually, you’re gonna get burned, and in today’s episode, we talk about the importance of planning ahead, because it not only keeps you and your team more organized, it helps create a deeper and more meaningful impact for your ministry.
