More About Kevin Sylvester


Kevin is a veteran broadcaster and public speaker that has worked in the NFL, NBA, NHL, NCAA, and PGA Tour. Kevin has been a Television Host on WGRZ since 2007. He has hosted the startup show, "This Weekend", "Tee 2 Green" and "WNY Living". At the Buffalo Sabres, he succeeded Josh Mora as the Sabres' studio host during the 2005–06 Buffalo Sabres season and was the alternate play-by-play broadcaster during the 2011–12 season. His partner in the broadcast booth was veteran broadcaster Danny Gare, whose number has been retired by the Sabres. Sylvester in the 2008–09 season, started being the substitute announcer for longtime play-by-play man Rick Jeanneret. Sylvester also hosted the Sabres Hockey Hotline. Sylvester left the Sabres organization to join the PGA. At the PGA Kevin served as an on-course Rover Announcer for PGA Tour Radio and PGA Tour Entertainment.  He provides live play-by-play announcing and on-site interviews and analysis.
