Description

Our guests in this episode are two inspiring women from the UK who discuss the importance of diversity, inclusion and authenticity in technology. Rosemarie Wilson, the founder of Pragmatic Coaching and author of the book "Imposter Syndrome and Your Performance - What's the Link?" is a mentor, speaker, and advocate for women in tech.

Jennifer Opal (she/her), an award-winning DevOps engineer, writer, speaker, AI enthusiast and advocate for inclusion and neurodiversity in the tech industry, shares her experiences and insights in her blog, the Jennifer Opal blog, which focuses on the challenges and triumphs of people with ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and the tech industry.During this episode, Rosemarie and Jennifer share their insights on creating a diverse and inclusive tech industry. They emphasize the importance of bringing humanity back into the workplace and fostering work cultures where everyone can thrive. We touch on the importance of people feeling confident if they are neurodiverse, queer, or a woman in tech, without feeling held back because of their identity.

As Jennifer Opal says, diversity can work; it's just that companies are not good at it.
