Turn to Page 291, The Quidditch Final. Today’s lesson is called The Best Defense
The chapter begins with Hermione sharing Hagrid’s note that they lost the case against Buckbeak, who is now sentenced to die. Hermione, Ron, and Harry make-up in light of this tragic ruling, and start to turn from fighting against each other to helping each other out, and fighting against both Malfoys, and Trelawney. Hermione oversleeps Charms, and, after listening to Trelawney make another prediction, excuses herself unceremoniously from Divination. In the quidditch final, Harry concludes that he should aggressively defend Malfoy, and despite Malfoy seeing the snitch first, Harry manages to snag it on his speedy Firebolt, and win the Quidditch Cup.
