Do you have struggle with having difficult conversations with friends, family or your significant other?
Pam shares some tips to help you improve your communication. She also shares tips for cultivating emotional health and the importance of knowing yourself before you enter a relationship.
Pam Larkin is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who graduated from Wheaton College with her Masters in Clinical Psychology.
With 8 years of clinical experience, Pam joined the team at Optimum Joy Clinical Counseling just under 6 months ago. In her work prior to Optimum Joy, Pam flourished in her pursuit of integrating her passion for social justice and mental health while working with those who struggle with severe mental illness. In her work at Thresholds, a community mental health agency in the Chicagoland area, Pam "grew up" as she offered community support in lower income homes and later became an Assistant Program Director.
Funny enough, it was there that she met her husband. Pam is enthusiastic about her work with Optimum Joy offering clinical supervision and counseling to individuals and couples. She is most excited to talk to others about dating, women's concerns, ethnic identity development, and spirituality.
