Nimelt mindi külla Euroopa ühele suurimale tehnoloogiafestivalile Latitude59, mille korraldajad palusid saatejuhil Laura Kursil võtta ette mõelda naiste rolli üle ei kuskil mujal kui .. tehnoloogias - surprise! Lauraga liitusid sel puhul haridusprojekti Solaride endine tegevjuht ning turundusekspert Kristel Leif ja Cathy White, kes on looja ja juht kommunikatsiooniagenturile CEW, mis on keskendunud just nimelt tehnoloogiaettevõtete ja startuppide abistamisele sel äärmiselt konkurentsirohkel turul.
Kristeli ja Cathyga arutleti naiste rolli üle ses ilmas, kuidas mõjutab selles edenemist ja püsimist lapsevanemaks saamine või hoopis raske tervisemure ja kuidas end selle kõige sees hoida. Niisamuti vaadeldi suhtumist "pehmetesse" valdkondadesse nagu turundus ja kommunikatsioon ja nende jätkuvat alahindamist, mis tehnoloogias kahjuks veel aset leiab.

This is the first episode of "Kust sa, lilleke, siia said?" in English! Recorded at one of Europe’s biggest technology festivals, Latitude59, Laura and her guests reflect on women’s role in none other than technology – surprise! For the occasion, Laura was joined by Kristel Leif, former CEO of the educational project Solaride and a marketing expert, as well as Cathy White, founder and CEO of the communications agency CEW, which focuses specifically on supporting technology companies and startups in this highly competitive market.
Together they had a look on a women’s role in this world, how becoming a parent or facing a serious health issue can affect progress and perseverance in the field, and how to maintain oneself amidst it all. Also attitudes toward so-called “soft” fields like marketing and communications were examined and their continued undervaluation, which unfortunately still occurs in technology.
