In Episode 16, CJ and Tanner are joined by Tamika Mays. Tamika is the first ever Black Female Detective Sergeant in the Suffolk County Police Department and is currently assigned to the Special Victims Unit. Tamika began her career in the NYPD and responded to Ground Zero after the 9/11 attacks while she was still a recruit in the Police Academy. Tamika is also the President of the Suffolk County Police LGBTQ Society, which she helped create to support members of the LGBTQ community who were being discriminated against because of the profession they chose, after cops were banned from marching in the NYC Pride Parade.
