As a people manager, when is the last time you asked your team how YOU can best support them?
I mean, directly used those words and ready to take notes and then take action. I will caution you, don't ask if you aren't ready to listen and take action.
We go through life with lots of assumptions, or at least I will certainly admit to that. Often my assumptions are not 100% on target - what about you? So, if we want to know how to best support someone - instead of always directing them - simply ask.
