By now most of you heard about the  CEO that terminated 900 employees on a zoom call.

Several of you asked me to weigh in...

• Yes, this speaks volumes about their workplace culture
• Yes, this will have a long lasting negative impact on their internal team
• Yes, this will have a long term negative impact on marketing
• Yes, this will have a long term negative impact on the future of recruiting

My question - where was the rest of the executive leadership team during the decision making, planning process of setting up a zoom call to terminate 900 employees to begin with????? A series of events happened prior to this call. Don't make isolated decisions. Laying off is never easy but we can all agree even without all the details, there could have been a better way. 

Now that CEO and the company is left with a big clean up on isle nine.
