Many are spending time trying to define or determine their workplace culture. Start by asking yourself what are you allowing in your culture now. What are you allowing around call offs, how you hire, how you onboard, how you train, how you communicate, how you decision make, and so much more.
You have a culture defined now, the question becomes is what you are allowing, what you want it to be? Is the current state you are allowing, how you want it defined?
If you want a culture of respect - how is it showing up now. How are you protecting what right looks like now around respect and civility?
If you want your culture to be inclusive - how are you creating that environment now?
Again, the list goes on. Any time someone says "I wish our culture was xxx." That xxx exists now but it's the opposite of you what you want and that my colleagues is where you now start. Flipping wrong into right is a starting point all in itself.
