Kai, with 25 years in the UK state sector, became Principal of British School Muscat (BSM) in 2011 and extended his leadership to British School Salalah in 2019. His tenure is defined by a commitment to excellence and innovation, inspired by students, staff and both communities. 

Under his guidance, BSM has earned global recognition, including ranking among the world’s top 100 schools and the Middle East’s top ten for four consecutive years. 

Kai serves on the COBIS Board of Directors, represents BSME and was named a top international education influencer in 2021, 2022 and 2024. He also hosts the ‘Educator’s Corner’ podcast.
