Tobias Conrady was raised in Conway Springs, Kansas, the middle of three brothers. His mother worked full-time as an aircraft electrician, and his father served as an aircraft tester and inspector. As a youth, Tobias enjoyed playing football and baseball, exploring history, and riding along with his grandfathers to check crops and inspect cattle.
At age 19, Tobias enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving ten years on active duty and an additional three years in the Kansas Air National Guard in signals intelligence. It was during his military service that he and his family were introduced to the Gospel of Jesus Christ—first through co-workers, then senior missionaries, and ultimately through traditional missionary discussions.
While stationed at Fort Meade, Maryland, Tobias met his wife, Judy. They were sealed in the Oklahoma City Temple and have built a close-knit and loving family with five children—three daughters and two sons. Their home has also welcomed others into its circle, including a quasi-adopted son and, more recently, a grandson through their married daughter.
Tobias earned a Bachelor of Science in Operations Management and has cultivated a dynamic career in the construction industry, with roles spanning sales, insurance, estimation, and project management.
His hobbies include watching and studying baseball, taking road trips with his family, and engaging in thoughtful discussions on politics and economics.
In his Church service, Tobias currently serves as a high councilor, stake Young Men’s secretary, and nursery leader. His previous callings include bishopric counselor, ward clerk, elders quorum counselor, and Gospel Doctrine teacher.
