My name is Rachel Reed. I am 32 years old. I live in DeLand Florida. I was a drug addict and a homeless prostitute for about 6 years of my adult life. I spent a very long time going through the motions of wanting to live for Christ and wanting to stay in my sin at the same time. We all know, that doesn't work that way. We either love one and hate the other, can't be both. So much happened in my life starting from childhood that caused me to enter the life of a drug addict, that I just so happened to write 2 books about it. But what's most important is that God saved me. He redeemed me. He gave me a 2nd chance. He sent Jesus to die for my sins and the moment I believed he delivered me and my journey of sanctification began. It has not been easy but so worth it. I've been clean from using drugs intravenously for almost 7 years. I have been married for 3 years and I have 5 beautiful children. 3 teenagers and 2 toddlers. My husband and I are the worship leaders for our small church. My life will never be the same, since I met Jesus in a jail cell.
