Description

Ruth’s number one pursuit in life is to witness to children and young people so that they will grow up knowing the true God and will desire a personal relationship with Christ when they are adults.

Ruth is a mental health therapist, a retired children’s pastor, and retired homeschooling mom.

She currently works helping her clients heal from trauma, manage anxiety and depression, and improve their mental health so that they can better experience God working in their lives.

Ruth is also a vocal advocate for Christian education and school choice, so she also works part time as a career counselor at a private Christian school.

Ruth has also worked in various youth and children’s pastor positions for over 10 years but retired when her oldest child started high school so that she could focus on homeschooling.

As much as she loves her work, Ruth’s greatest life achievement was homeschooling her three children K-12 and getting them into college herself. Her three children have all graduated their respective universities with honors and all are now working successful careers in high demand fields. Ruth’s greatest blessing from God has been witnessing her three adult children declare their personal faith in Christ  and continuing their faith journeys independent from their parents. There is no greater joy.

Ruth and her husband have been married for 27 years and live in the suburbs of Philadelphia. In her free time, Ruth enjoys decluttering, walking around her neighborhood, and eating out at all the good restaurants around her home!
