Episode 24 of What in the Shibal with Soogia and Ed Choi starts off with the two of them pretending to be NPCs (non-playable characters) from social media and Ed learns the origins of that current trend in sex work. Ed and Susie discuss Century Eggs and Ladbaby and the video where he and his wife overreact to Century Eggs. Ed hates cooked carrots, jello, and wooden spoons on tongues while Susie talks about her spine chilling aversion to fork on teeth. Ben Bankas the racist comedian of Canada is unfortunately brought up to bring up the stark difference in the vitriol that Susie receives vs Ed from Ben's racist and misogynistic followers and is a direct example of how that accent often leads to violence especially for Asian women. All before reading a few Would I Be The Asshole from a new but not so new version of a series that includes colorism, erasure, and the "what are you game".
