Description

Rachel Shapiro joins the podcast! Rachel, a Medical Esthetician, shares her insight into the "Sephora Kids" trend.  "Sephora Kids"  is a term for tween and teenage girls who use adult beauty and skincare products. The term became popular in 2024 after a surge in young children shopping at Sephora. The problem is, these problems can be extremely harmful to young skin and overall health. Rachel shares her expertise on how to navigate the beauty aisles for safe products, what products preteens and teens should actually be using on their skin, and how she is personally helping parents and kids find the best skin care for them. We also discuss Rachel's inspiring journey managing her daughter Sage's auto immune diagnosis, as she shares her story of how she helped Sage recognize that "different is dope"!
