My one word invites you to join a caravan of other SOULjourners every Wednesday until the conclusion of Passover. In solidarity, we will be fasting from going fast by adding slow to our days.
How does slowing down help us become more like Jesus?
How has your heart been trained to hurry?
When we intentionally discipline or train our bodies to slow down, you and I are actually habituating our hearts back towards the Beloved, Our Creator. This is part of our embodiment narrative.
We will train our hearts in three ways to become more present with Jesus, ourselves, and others. We will Bless + Breathe + Relax.
These three gifts will become our Lenten sanctuary of transformation.
