Did you know the “Patay Na Si Hesus” director is an OG-Weeb that he used to import VHS tapes of anime. Now his anime influence (and Hideo Kojima fandom) has influenced his films Kusina Kings, Lucid, and Patay Na Si Hesus, which is the first Cebuano Film to be shown on Netflix.
All I really wanted to know was how he thought of that semen-cannibalism gag but I was very delighted to know that it all came from his anime and video game geekery.
