Regular recent Golden Boot Brittany Palombi and midfield engine Krista Hagen have re-signed for Canberra Croatia (Dec 23 and 26 announcements). Welcome news for the team given Grace Gill is making noises of not pulling on the boots in 2022.

- Steffen - Wellington Phoenix captain Lily Alfeld is surely the best keeper in the Dub right now. The Nix has been a breath of fresh air in the comp and have shown promise even in defeat. Alfeld impresses with her leadership and all could see in her post-match interview last week the passion she has for the team.
- Eric - Mackenzie Hawkesby had the best possible homecoming on Thursday, scoring a first half hat trick in Sydney FC's 5-0 win over Wellington in Wollongong. Hawkesby went to school almost next door to WIN Stadium, at St Mary Star of the Sea College.
- Cheryl - Melissa Maizels made her Melbourne Victory debut and her first A-League Women appearance since the 2017-18 season, when she was playing for Perth
- Maj - Natalie Tathem made her return from an ACL injury and set up Shea Connors' winning goal for Brisbane Roar against Melbourne Victory
