Dave Homyak is a real estate investor, developr, syndicator, short term rental specialist and idea combiner.  At 53, Dave purchased his first investment property after making the uncommon decision to leave a stable career as an Engineer. He was nervous, but had no idea what successes were in store.

Dave’s natural student-like enthusiasm for embracing out new and exciting opportunities has allowed him to expand his entrepreneurial portfolio beyond real estate, with a creative and value-driven idea for connecting business owners and entrepreneurs with the remote workers who can make their lives easier.

In this episode, Dave and Phil discuss:

·         Overcoming anxiety to

·         Waiting 36 years to start investing in real estate and pursuing financial freedom, and then quitting his corporate W-2 job in less than a year.

·         How to leverage remote workers and virtual assistants to grow your business.

·         How he didn’t truly understand leverage and depreciation until he started investing in real estate.

·         Why real estate ‘door count’ is not an important metric that so many people want to talk about.

·         Being creative and solving problems.

·         Dave’s approach to partnerships.

·         The importance of understanding the other party in negotiations.

·         Why you will never buy a new vehicle again!

·         An amazing story of what money can do for others to have an amazing impact.

Thanks Dave for coming on!
