Guilt is one of the heaviest burdens we carry after losing someone we love to the poisoned drug supply. The “what ifs” never seem to end. What if I had done more? What if I had made a different decision?
In this episode of Logan’s Voice, I open up about the lies guilt tells us, the toll it takes on parents, siblings, and families, and how we can begin to release its grip. I share the story of a mother who lost her daughter just a month ago, and how her son, the girl’s brother, is wrestling with the crushing guilt of not letting her move in because she was in active addiction. His pain is a reminder that guilt touches everyone who loves someone lost.
But guilt doesn’t have to be the end of our story. Together, we’ll talk about how to transform guilt into grace, and how to carry love forward in ways that honor those we miss so deeply.
