Don’t stop ‘being’ thankful, but we need to shift our responses from simply being ‘thank you’ I’m talking about reply to comments on your social posts (Facebook, instagram, or YouTube comments). Somebody writes in a tells you how much they love your new song, the easiest response is ‘thank you so much’. What we don’t realise is that this is killing the conversation! It’s not giving us a chance to grow that relationship and build connection with an appreciative audience, nor is it allowing Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube to pick up our content as an engaging post and put it in front of more people.
In this episode I have a look at how we should handle positive comments to start and engaging conversation, build and grow connection, and spike the platform algorithm to get further reach from out posts.
