Description

In this episode, I sit down with two of my good friends to talk about ADHD — what it was like growing up with it, the struggles we face as adults, and the unexpected gifts like hyperfocus. We also dive into coping tools, friendships, and how ADHD shows up in relationships.

This episode was definitely a journey to create. I originally recorded the whole thing on a third-party app, but the file corrupted because I didn’t have enough space on my phone. The next day, I rerecorded with my friends, but halfway through one of my mics died. My friend recorded too, but his angle caught my tripod and lights (plus a small spotlight on my face 😅). In the end, I ended up using his audio with my video — even though you might hear my A/C in the background — because I just wanted to share this conversation.

The final product isn’t “perfect,” but I think that’s what makes it real. Just like ADHD itself, creating this episode was messy, frustrating, and imperfect — but also full of connection, laughter, and heart.

Disclaimer: I am not a medical professional and this episode is not intended as medical advice. I do not promote self-diagnosing ADHD. In the episode, I share that through personal research I identify with ADHD, but due to limited resources I have not received a formal diagnosis. This conversation is meant to share personal experiences only.

I hope you enjoy it and maybe even see a piece of yourself in our stories.
