Today's episode, David is taking a deeper dive into a topic we lightly covered in the past- Multiple Offers. Multiple offers can get tricky pretty quickly if the agent isn't prepared for it. If you were to present an offer on a home and it was registered, then someone use came and presented an offer and it was registered, the agent would have to inform you that you're now in a competition and give you time to adjust your original offer... you can see how this can get complicated if there was a BUNCH of offers, right? There's a lot of back and forth and this process should happen every time an offer comes to the table. This process can be more organized with offer dates.
Our advice? Go in with what you're comfortable with and don't go over what your comfortable limit is! Always have the conversation with your agent about how much you are willing to spend on a certain home- especially if it becomes a competition.
