What a week in Sudbury it's been. Between the blizzards and snow days, we managed to have a busier than anticipated week in Real Estate. In addition to the crazy week of home sales, we have seen the COVID vaccinations locally go into overdrive, turning the Carmichael Arena into one big vaccination site. It looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel with a clear path to picking those arms of those that are excited to be vaccinated, which has given a lot of confidence in the real estate market and is currently pushing interest rates up. I spoke to one mortgage broker that was up until midnight last night locking people in at current rates as he is predicting a .3% bump up in the 5 year fixed rates before next week!
