Compassion without Borders brings brighter futures to animals in need on both sides of the border. They focus their efforts where the need is the greatest, but where animals are the very least likely to be helped due to financial, geographic, and cultural barriers. Their programs include a dog rescue program from Mexico and the Central Valley, along with free veterinary wellness and spay/neuter clinics in underserved communities on both sides of the border.
Megan Gatlin has 10+ years of experience founding and scaling international business operations across emerging technologies including digital and mobile advertising, cannabis, SaaS, and crypto. Before becoming Director of Development at Compassion Without Borders, Megan was an executive leader at EdgeMode.io and Insightful.io and, prior to that, Humanity and Manage.com, playing an integral role in the growth and subsequent acquisitions of both businesses. She is thriving in her transition from for-profit tech to nonprofit animal welfare and also serves on the board of Friends of Monte Rio, where she helps bring the community together through events such as RioFest and other local-based initiatives.
