Ara Chawdhury is a Bisaya Bengali transmedia storyteller and human rights activist. Her debut feature Miss Bulalacao screened at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA) 2016 Best of Philippine Cinema program. She recently staged a multimedia project titled “Maldisyon” about generational trauma and has published a children’s book titled “Marichin Marukoy, Mangayo Ko’g Asin”.
