In this episode, we chat with Brian, originally from Ireland and the oldest of three siblings, who shares his journey from traveling through Southeast Asia to settling in New Zealand as a mechanical engineer. After being seconded to Australia, Brian and his wife moved to Perth, where they bought their principal place of residence in North Perth. We caught up over a beer in 2023 to chat about life and property, and soon after, Brian engaged us to help expand his portfolio.
Together, we secured two investment properties — one in Perth and one in Melbourne — in 2024 and 2025, following an anti-cyclical investment strategy.
Now, Brian and Courtney are enjoying the fruits of his hard work, playing the long game in property investing and leaving a legacy for their two girls.
