Welcome to the episode 4 of the Bedroom Studios Podcast! This week's guest is Emily Green!
Emily Green is a composer currently studying composition at the Manhattan School of Music, and has earned her bachelors degree in voice and composition from the University of Toronto. Emily has had several pieces performed and commissioned by choirs such as the Ottawa Regional Youth Choir, the Capital Chamber Choir, the Elmer Iseler Singers, the University of Toronto's Concreamus Chamber Choir, and Myriad Women's Choir. Emily is also an active member of the music community at large. She has done volunteer and mentor work with programs such as OrKidstra and the Ottawa Children's Choir, as well as having been a part of Youth4Music's Ottawa hub. She is a core member of Green Room Sound Collective: a student-led group with a focus on premiering new works by student composers at the University of Toronto.
