BIO: Constance Darshea Collins is an accomplished international educator and leader currently serving as the PLC Coach and High School Social Studies Teacher at Singapore American School. Drawing on her foundation as a social studies educator and enriched with graduate training from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Constance brings critical insight and compassion to her work.Her career has taken her across continents—teaching in Switzerland, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Africa, Uganda, and now Singapore—and has deeply shaped her appreciation for cultural diversity and global citizenship. A devoted advocate for equity-centered education, she helps lead the AISA DEIJ Collaborative, where she supports curriculum transformation and nurtures affinity-based leadership networks throughout Africa.Constance’s professional identity is rooted in her authentic and intersectional perspective as a Black woman from Atlanta who also holds a degree from Yale University, though that detail is noted on her LinkedIn about her academic background.
