Kane and Rhys finish their marathon on Dead Men Tell No Tale, which appears to revisit the mainline story of the franchise and take us back to the narrative of Will Turner and co. Penelope Cruz is traded for her real world husband, Javier Bardem, and we bare witness to a more saturated and light depiction of the Pirates world.
This episode probably sees the most disagreement between the two hosts as they debate on whether this movie can constitute as good or not. What can be agreed upon though, is that it appears to take itself less seriously than any of the rest. But does it act as good closure to the series?
