PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN FRANCHISE MARATHON
Following a brief podcast hiatus, Kane and Rhys are back with a vengeance, and a bad case of scurvy. Join the two as they begin marathoning the entire Pirates of the Caribbean franchise; Kane as an expert, and Rhys having never seen one before.
The first entry of the franchise triggers a boom for the pirate sub-genre of film, and the boys talk about what pirate movies looked like before the time of Captain Jack Sparrow and Will Turner, as well as what Disney's live action catalogue had going for for it at the time.
Be warned that this series will include many bad pirate impressions, that will surely become annoying by somewhere throughout the marathon, if not as you hear Rhys utter "seadogs" for the first time. But that's what is sure to happen amidst a Pirates marathon right? One friend has to ruin it with one too many pirate impressions. Bring a cutlass, and enjoy.
