Previously on... Evan Gold is a private detective in Athens, Kansas. His head is swimming after the strange events of the week - his partner is murdered, the widow and the police name him suspect number one in the recent murders, and Evan needs to find the real murderer before he ends up in Leavenworth.
Evan Gold, gives up the pearl box he received from the now-deceased train conductor. If Eye Patch takes the bait, then maybe Evan can wrap this whole mess up and take a lot of bad guys off the street. But, let's be honest, that's not how these stories go.
