Previously on... Evan Gold is a private detective in Athens, Kansas. His head is swimming after the strange events of the night - his partner is murdered, the widow and the police name him suspect number one in the murders of last night, and Evan needs to track down the woman who might be the last person his partner saw alive.
Evan needs to find some connections, so he heads back to check in on his client Claire Porter. Will she tell him the truth? Does she have a connection to Harold Huber? To the pearl? What can he find out before this case before it gets too much more out of hand?
