His head is swimming after the strange events of the week - his partner is murdered, the widow and the police name him suspect number one in the recent murders, and Evan needs to find the real murderer before he ends up in Leavenworth.
Lt. Bobby Short has left Evan Gold in a fury. And Evan seems to be no closer to learning who killed his partner and Jason Charles. Will he be able to convince his less than compliant client Clair Porter to tell him what she knows? The plot is about to get as thick as a mouthful of peanut butter before we're done!
