Served as a church pastor for 17 years, Board of Trustees of Point Loma Nazarene University, then as a stockbroker(series 7) for 26 years, land developer, builder of custom homes, and owner of assisted living fcilities. Shortly after leaving the pastoral ministry, he became executive assistant to a successful business owner of healthcare facilities.
