Description

Becoming a parent can throw your home life for a loop! Suddenly there is a lot more laundry, and toys thrown all over the floor. In this episode, Naeemah chats with Naomi Kyalo, the owner of Thrive In Order. They discuss how life has changed for Naomi since having her daughter and what parents can do to stay organized.

Naomi is one of the founding members of The National Association of Black Professional Organizers and owner of Thrive in Order in Atlanta. She is a general residential and business organizer, who is passionate about supporting others in the journey to create and maintain order in their spaces and daily lives so they can thrive. She also enjoys downsizing projects and move management.
Born and raised in Kenya, Naomi has always had a knack for order, which she believes is derived from growing up in an organized home, time spent straightening her family’s retail store shelves, and generally having less stuff. She did not start organizing for others though until she lived in Atlanta for a while and discovered `professional organizing’. With a background in healthcare, she has the tools and a great desire to serve others. Organizing enables her to fulfill that purpose whether it’s for the busy professional, the overwhelmed parent, or the senior client that’s not physically able to do it themselves. Her biggest accomplishment is the lives she’s able to help transform through attaining order. She strongly believes that being organized is an essential tool for living a fulfilling life so "Thrive in order”!
