Today I’m sitting down with my friend David Blatt, who produces Colorado’s chapter of Mortified. You know… that stage show where brave adults read their most humiliating teenage writings out loud? (Yes, it’s as chaotic and delightful as it sounds.) David chased rock-star dreams in his twenties, found a whole new chapter through acupuncture, and somehow manages to be the calmest, and best-voiced, presence in any room.
We talk about acupuncture in a way that finally makes sense to me, including what it can do for anxiety, emotional regulation, and creativity. We also play SIP/SAVOR/SPILL, where David and I reveal our comfort shows, the musical dreams we never let die, and the day we’d each relive if we had the chance.
