Behold The Lamb // Dominick Butler
“Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29)
The significance of the lamb is all throughout scripture. God from the very beginning showed the imperative nature of satisfying the debt of transgressions with the shedding of blood.
We went through multiple pinnacle references on the lamb in the book of Genesis. This led us all the way to a marked moment in time in Exodus 12, when the Passover was instituted to Moses. The Passover lamb is what exalts the fullness of the Cross of Christ.
We as a Body need to learn and search the scriptures to discover the depths of our precious Lord.
We are grateful for the Cross & Resurrection! Let us go deeper in the scriptures to discover the fullness of His marvelous works!
